Mixed signals. I'm still dwelling on December because I'm tough on the exterior but a sentimental boy at heart. Around Christmas-time, I made sure somebody got a picture of me going in for a hug with my cousin Ava. I'm sure it must've been like spotting an owl or an albino squirrel.

A first time for everything. This was my first shot at walking around the block, while holding hands with Daddy. Other firsts on this trip include pronouncing the word banana, drinking eggnog, blowing kisses, eating chinese food, pizza, and mashed potatoes. Not all in one meal, of course; that would've been gross.

Another attempt at flying gone by the way-side. While visiting Grandma in Virginia, I spent a great deal of my time eluding Daddy's grasp and flying past the horses without ever really leaving the ground. The rest of my time was spent feeling hubcaps, tires, and license plates in the driveway.

Demystifying Mister Virgil. What does it take to earn the respect of Grandma's cat? Apparently, he has a weakness for salt & vinegar Pringles.
