As we roll into spring break today, here are a few fun moments with june over the past week. Her cat in the hat disguise inspired me to show up in drag for my gig as the mystery reader for her class. At first June was excited but shortly after demanded I lose that look.
And then, here is June's theme song of late. It was Georgia Porgia, and I really preferred that version. But I'll accept any variety of her singing this tune.

Revisiting last month's sweethearts dance... kindergarten romance has always seemed folkloric to me. But there is an undeniable chemistry between June and Jude. They hit the dancefloor as little rule-breakers, hand-in-hand renegades against a backdrop of goof-offs (/Isaac) and shy kids (/me).

Tiny explorers. On our second snow day last week the sun emerged, and the white forest up our backyard hill beckoned to be mussed, clomped, and snow-angeled upon. We had hours to explore and chase small animals', as well as each other's footprints.

Natural beauties, if I do say so myself.

Getting dolled up for the upcoming Christmas card photograph always seems like a good idea at the time. But inevitably, there is a certain amount of bribery and mass hysteria. Fits of crying... confusion and boredom. All so you can go with the picture that obscures the children and focuses on the drama queen guitar in the corner.
