Is there room for me in there? Thanks for your patience. Isaac is in the process of moving his blog elsewhere, according to his father's wishes. So we're doing some renovating and will be posting a new link very shortly.

Oh, no! Two Stirlings in one house? It was destined to be quite an adventure.

1/2 year old today! What an extraordinary occasion. Sir Isaac [aka Buki-Booh "Bunny-Boy"] Ragsdale is officially 6 mo. of age. And so begins a taste-test of solid edible delights. No, Daddy, not soysage & gravy. Rice cereal, oatmeal, and then eventually we'll move on to veggies and fruits. So much variety in the world: what's a boy to do? Why, we must celebrate the half a year gone by... and the many halves to come.

Printemps. Since he was hatched on the first day of autumn, it is only now that Isaac is faced with the reality of a new season. Oh, wait! Winter... What happened to winter? These 6 months have flown at an amazing speed.
Sleeping bag or backpack? On Saturday (3/18) we hit the trails at Radnor Lake. The hike was so strenuous, I couldn't help but fall asleep near the beginning. But there was a second wind; I didn't miss out on the entire outing.

Something so beautiful. Who knew something so beautiful existed in Nashville? Our lives will never be the same. Just wait til Grandpa finds out about this utopic turtle retreat next week when he comes to visit for his birthday...

Until the next excursion... Thanks for coming along on the voyage. Now it's time to dance on my back in the trunk of the wagon! Ciao, baby.

Understanding color on St. Patrick's Day. Isaac wants to know if teal counts as green. (Any old excuse to borrow Mommy's hat.)

Dear Mawmaw & Pappaw, Looking forward to quilt-time on your floor. The teething-ring's been great fun. I've gotten used to its beachball smell, eventhough I've never actually seen a beachball before.
Getting lost in the wisp on the back of your head. Probably only the mother of this child is truly capable of seeing the immense beauty and hilarity in these head-shots. His head was shaped differently back in October. At times, it resembled a duck-tail.
Bathtime at Grandpa's. Back in the day (late November '05) I can recall taking a relaxing dip in Grandpa's kitchen sink. Now, when they first pitched the plan to me, I'll admit that I had some reservations. But once I felt the warmth of the water, I forgot that I'd ever questioned their intentions. Grandpa's kitchen sink: it's not just for dishes.

The age-obsessed. Stripped straight off an advertisement for kenneth cole's children line. Couldn't help it: I love this question. It's a play on the question parents get asked more than any other question. "You want to know how old my son is? Well, he'd rather I not reveal such information... But in your cutesiest baby-voice, perhaps you can ask him how old I am."
He saw you. Checking out his blog, and he just wanted to thank you for stopping by. Now go get some fresh air. It's a beautiful day outside. It may even be nap-in-a-stroller type weather.

Fall in love daily. I still sometimes miss him when he sleeps. But this morning, it would have been nice if he let me sleep past 4am.

Aurora indulges, while Isaac and Lucas try to hold it together. What we discovered in the park is that Aurora is not just your typical soy-free, carnivorous, vegan. Why, she's a herbivore! The girl can chow down on some weeds, grass, and perhaps, even a little soil. Isaac and Lucas just tried to maintain their composures in this nature setting.
Their first swingset experience. Much like watching the Project Runway Reunion special, we laughed & cried. But we look a little bored in this photograph. It's mainly a result of the laughter and all the tears that were shed.
Isaac learns how to operate a swing. Who knew life could get this exciting?

Going natural. In addition to the usual signs of spring, Isaac has decided to do his part by abandoning this frosty wigged look for the season. We prefer his lil faux-hawk, as well.
Sometimes people will comment on how he smells like a baby. And Patrick will often reply, "Yes, I think he smells like clouds." There is a commercial for Christianity that occasionally comes on during reruns of SNL that invariably reminds us of a perfume for Jesus. It would probably be very marketable.

Seems like it was only yesterday. At the beginning of last month (February) Isaac was just beginning to grasp the concept of belly-time. And now, he's on a roll. Literally, he will not stay on his back. His true calling in life is to scoot around on his belly. Sometimes he resembles a land-locked swimmer.

Wish you were here. This was snapped last weekend (3/4) at a birthday party in Asheland City. It's for my wonderful mother, who is joining us on the web. Isaac squawks a hearty unidentifiable greeting call your way. He hasn't seen you in a while, but it won't take much to jog his memory of grandma, hopefully, when he sees you in April.

Showing it off. Friday was a day of show & tell for fellow Nashville-Franklin-Brentwood (?) hipster-mommies, Jen & Dawn. Lucas sported a first-time haircut, while Aurora chirped like a bird. Isaac demonstrated how to roll over from his back to his belly, as it has become his favorite physical activity ever. He's under the impression that he is the only one in the world who can perform this stunt, as he lets out a big squeal-like cheer every time he attempts it.

Crying is not always the proper way to impress a lady, Sir Isaac. On Friday, he realized that just because he's a mama's boy, this does not necessarily qualify him as a lady's man. Someday, maybe soon, the girlies will be lining up to share his play-mat.
Isaac attends church! Once an old school-haus, this potential Anthropologie® backdrop won Isaac (and his mommy's) heart as one fine photo opportunity. Now, it's time to learn to sing some hymns.
You call this a piano?! My PlaySkool® piano is so much more exciting and user-friendly than this antique piece.
This is not our new vehicle. We bought our first car together on Sunday (march 5th). Much like this radio flyer, it is a wagon. But it's a little less red (but you can't tell from this photograph), and it is a little more spacious than the wagon depicted here. Isaac's pleased that the VW doesn't cramp his fast-paced lifestyle. He's looking forward to a big road-trip to NC come April.

It appears that the bunny-boy has no choice but to arrive on the blogging scene. His only request is that the photographs depicting his formative months be decent and tasteful... nudey shots to a minimum. He has mentioned something about just wanting to represent the hard-working [ridiculously hip] middle-class teether population. Let's see what we can do, Isaac.
